THE PART-TIME TRANSFER CASE. The Borg-Warner® transfer case, standard on Ram ST,
SLT and Outdoorsman 4x4 models, is ideal for off-road, farm, industrial and leisure activities.
It features two speeds with three operating ranges, plus Neutral. It is electronically operated via
centre stack-mounted controls.
THE ON-DEMAND TRANSFER CASE. Long proven on Ram 1500 4x4 models, this two-speed
transfer case offers four operating modes, plus the Neutral position, and features Auto Mode
for all-weather operation—with no driver input required. It is electronically operated via
centre stack-mounted controls and is standard on Ram Big Horn, Sport, Laramie, Laramie
Longhorn and Laramie Limited.

The remarkable Active-Level Four-Corner Air Suspension is an available system that
improves control and ride quality. Active-Level technology ensures automatic levelling while
under heavy payload, and is the foundation of a comprehensive system featuring five distinct
operational heights (or modes). Aero Mode automatically adjusts at highway speeds while
Entry/Exit and the two Off-Road modes are managed manually via the integrated switch
bank or the key fob.

FINGERTIP EASE. Operation of the available Active-
Level Four-Corner Air Suspension, remote start and locking

are as simple as the touch of a button.
ACTIVE-LEVEL TECHNOLOGY. For typical pickups, a heavily loaded cargo bed produces obvious sag and points headlights
up instead of on the road. The available Ram Active-Level Four-Corner Air Suspension System makes all of that history by counteracting
the weight and levelling out the chassis for an even, more controlled ride, maintaining a comfortable horizontal plane and properly
directed headlamps.
OFF-ROAD 2 MODE.
Provides excellent ground clearance for the
path and trail, with the greatest angles for approach, departure
and breakover.
OFF-ROAD 1 MODE. Outstanding ride balance, with an extra
degree of clearance when you need it.
NORMAL RIDE HEIGHT. The most comfortable balance of ride
and handling for everyday driving.
AERO MODE. Aero automatically lowers the vehicle at highway
speeds, reducing aerodynamic drag and body roll while measurably
improving fuel efficiency.
ENTRY/EXIT MODE. Lowers the entire vehicle for easier
ingress/egress, cargo area loading/unloading and trailer
hooking/unhooking.

multilink coil spring rear suspension technology is the preferred
suspension system for rail cars. Fact: this suspension design offers strength, durability and
exceptional ride comfort without sacrificing capability.
THE MULTILINK COIL SPRING REAR SUSPENSION
A tough, forged, solid steel lateral track bar is sized
to the vehicle and secures to the frame (and then
to the axle) to control body roll during cornering.
Two heavy-duty steel longitudinal links on each
side are mounted to the frame and tuned to offer
outstanding performance during hauling and cruising.
